Are you someone who loves to read and discuss great literature? Do you likewise enjoy connecting with new people? Well, we would like to cordially invite you to take part in our second annual Friends of Mockingbird Zoom Book Club.

This year, we have picked out eight Mockingbird-resonant books to read and discuss over the course of 2022. The first five books will be shorter novels that we will meet to discuss after one-month intervals, while the last three will be longer works that we’ll discuss after two-month intervals. Here’s the line-up:

For each session, we will meet over Zoom on either the last Tuesday or last Thursday (to be determined by vote) of each month above. Just like last year, we hope to be joined by a wonderful group of digital friends and neighbors from across the country, but instead of having three separate sessions, we will only have one. There is no fee or other requirements for participation.

If you don’t want to participate in every session but drop in occasionally, that’s fine! We can still send you the updates and reminders, or you can follow along at a distance. If you don’t get to finish (or even start) a given book, that’s fine too — you should still feel free to tune in for the conversation and the digital community. We’d love to get to know you.

If you’re interested in participating in any or all of the sessions, please fill out this Google Form to provide basic contact information (for book club purposes only) and vote on a meeting time. We hope to see you in January! Happy reading, folks!
