Felicia Day‘s recent tweet:
When the teeth cleaning lady tells me I need to floss more, it makes me feel like a chastised 5 year old. I want to NOT floss because of it.
(Felicia Day starred in Dr. Horrible’s Singalong Blog and was one of the potential slayers in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Her tweet captures the essence of the Law – it tells you what to do, but makes you not want to do it!)

great little post, B! I love her in Dr. Horrible but don’t remember her from Buffy – which season?
Season 7 – one of the potentials who ends up living in Buffy’s house and trains with her.
BTW I am exactly the same as Felicia Day with my dentist…my dentist is amazing but she has an uncanny ability to make me feel really guilty. My oral hygiene is totally driven by guilt/fear (I floss like mad for a week before I have a dentist appointment).
I was the same way with flossing… until I had NINE cavities! Now I am a floss pusher.
me too…but 2, not 9 cavities, and at $150 a pop (plus a scary dentist) it definitely gave me incentive to floss (a little more) frequently. ha 🙂
