We are so grateful for Graham Tomlin’s 2026 NYC talk. An Anglican clergyman and theologian, Tomlin is coming off the recent UK publication of an acclaimed biography on Blaise Pascal: The Man Who Made the Modern World, which comes out in the US next month. Pascal was not only a brilliant mathematician (his triangle’s still handy for boardgame strategy) but also perhaps the first modern figure to articulate humanity’s irrepressible spiritual longing even in age of accelerating rationalism. His far-reaching, often humorous insights on the human condition ultimately show how our deep aspirations and contradictions insistently point us toward the God revealed in Jesus Christ. In a time of felt disenchantment, his insights remain as pertinent as ever, and Tomlin draws them out in fresh, convicting ways.
