sim- it’s directed by Spike Jonze, the guy responsible for Being John Malkovich and Adaptation (not to mention the beastie boys’ sabatoge video). his first kids movie. so its going to be seriously creative.
in other news i watched City of Ember last night, which i think you would really enjoy. GREAT premise (and pretty awesome art direction), marred slightly by some bad child-acting and lame action sequences. but very much worth your time. bill murray is in it.
i can’t wait! counting the months until i can read the book to thomas over and over…
