Great session Ethan.
I was struck by the note of self-justification in S1/E7: According to Frank, all meth dealers need to be in jail (or die) but Marie “just needs a little therapy” for her shoplifting. I find Frank’s notion of the law akin to the contemporary evangelicalism I used to participate in. There are BIG sins and then there are little sins. Big ones = fall from grace; little ones = okay but . . . lets try to keep them in check. (And we like to decide which is which.)
Can’t wait for August 11.
