Wow! Just wow! So many nuggets in here that I need to go back and relisten. But what struck my 47 year old self chord is that we look at our peers and friends and measure ourselves by them and their choices. I get that! Also, the Kanye West example is priceless. And finally, when you speak about coming to the end of trying to live up to the law, and just feeling beaten down by ourselves, it really is when we are ready to hear the wonderful, precious, too good to be true (but thankfully and crazily is) news that God knows us and loves us. Thank you for this!! Serene

I agree… wow! Great job, David. I too will need to view this more than once to absorb everything. By the way, I very recently began appreciating The Who for all the reasons to which you alluded and which you cited in this talk and other blogs. Thanks for giving this talk. I always enjoy reading your writing. Very rich with gospel-centrality.
