Mockingbird Events

Manuela Thames is a photographic artist with a love for writing. Her work explores themes of loss, belonging, faith, resilience, and what it means to be human in a broken world. Born and raised in Germany and now based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, she creates images and essays that invite reflection, connection, and hope. She is married to her American husband, and together they have raised two sons, now 19 and 16. Her greatest sources of inspiration are people and their stories, books, meaningful conversations, and long walks in nature with her Labrador, Clementine.
