Amie Hollmann is a creative director at a New York art gallery and architecture firm, as well as a curator, artist, and writer based in Manhattan’s Chinatown. Her work spans the fields of architecture, contemporary art, publishing, and higher education. She holds an M.S. from The New School’s School of Public Engagement.

While studying at Parsons School of Design, her data visualization inspired by Daily Rituals: How Artists Work was selected for the juried exhibition Mixed Messages. She was also selected for the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation Emerging Leaders Program (2024–2025).

Her photography, artwork, and writing have appeared in numerous publications, including Mockingbird, Newsday, Afloat USA, Dan’s Papers, Private Air Luxury Homes, Sojourners, Light & Life, and Neue magazine. She is the author of Celebration & Community and Hospitality in the Spiritual Practices for Everyday Life series, published by Hendrickson Publishers.

Amie previously served as an instructor of graphic design at Concordia College New York and spent three summers teaching courses on creativity, design, and innovation in India. She has been a guest on The Craft podcast from 1517, discussing the creative process and artistic practice.

Her design work has supported publications and partner events in collaboration with the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Morgan Library & Museum, and has been exhibited at Carnegie Hall. She currently co-hosts the Image Journal Manhattan Reading Group. Find her in the social sandbox @amiehollmann.
